Dr. Craig Beattie graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2005 and has been working as a GP in Aberdeen City for over 15 years. He is committed to providing friendly, patient-focused, and evidence-based care.
Craig has special interests in Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine and Cardiology, developed during nearly a year of dedicated hospital training prior to becoming a GP. He continues to draw on this experience in his daily practice. He also offers a range of practical procedures, including steroid injections for shoulders, elbows, and Morton’s neuroma, as well as nasal cautery for recurrent nosebleeds.
Beyond his clinical work, Craig created Grampian Guidance, an NHS Grampian website hosting over 2,000 clinical documents designed to support healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes through innovation and the introduction of new technologies and treatments to make healthcare more effective, accessible, and personalised.
Craig values the continuity and variety of general practice and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, supporting them through every stage of their health journey.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing trumpet, field hockey, running, skiing and taking on DIY projects.
