Dr. Chi Hin Wong graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2012. He has worked across Aberdeen and the Highlands, gaining clinical experience in a wide range of medical specialties before qualifying as a GP in 2018. Chi Hin has a special interest in occupational health and offshore healthcare and is an Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) registered doctor. He is currently working towards the Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed). In addition, he has an interest in medical education and serves as a Year 4 GP educational supervisor at the University of Aberdeen. Chi Hin values the continuity and variety of General Practice. In addition to English, Chi Hin can consult in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Outside of work, Chi Hin enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is a bit of a foodie who loves traveling and exploring different cultures and cuisines. He also enjoys gaming and playing sports such as badminton, basketball, football, and table tennis.

Dr. David Cooper graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1997 and has over 23 years of experience as a GP, and previous work in emergency medicine. He has been a GP trainer for many years, successfully supporting and mentoring numerous GPs across Aberdeen and beyond. David has a particular interest in offshore and remote healthcare, as well as pre-hospital emergency care, occupational health, digital innovation, and primary care. Alongside his work in general practice,he serves as Deputy Medical Director at MCL Medics, Chairperson of the Scottish National Users Group (SNUG), and Chair of the NHS Grampian IT Group. His career reflects a strong commitment to practical improvements that support frontline GPs and enhance patient care. He is qualified in sexual and reproductive health (DFSRH) and provides a wide range of GP consultations, with additional expertise in occupational health assessments, offshore medical support, and digital health integration. His leadership roles have also seen him recognised with awards and professional accolades. He has additional skills in minor surgery, joint injections and contraceptive implant insertion. Outside of medicine, David enjoys hill walking, playing tennis, and playing the cornet. He is passionate about enhancing patient care through innovation, collaboration and education.

Dr. David Wandless began his medical career in hospital medicine, specialising in renal medicine and long-term condition management. This foundation underpins his enduring interest in complex chronic disease, particularly diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, chronic pain, and mental health. He transitioned into general practice and qualified as a GP in 2022. Alongside clinical work, he is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, where he leads the Year 4 long-term conditions block and teaches integrated care. David provides a range of services, including joint injections for painful musculoskeletal conditions and evidence-based management of frailty and chronic pain. His academic contributions include publications in BMJ Open (2017, 2025). Outside of medicine, he also performs stand-up comedy.

Dr. Jennie Sandison graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2009 and has been working as a GP since 2014. She is an experienced GP partner with a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine. Jennie has particular expertise in women’s health, including contraception and menopause care. She is trained in the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, holds the DFSRH qualification, and is currently working towards the British Menopause Society certificate. She also has additional training in diabetes care and enjoys supporting patients to manage their long-term health conditions. Alongside her clinical work, Jennie is an educational supervisor for GP trainees and has a strong interest in medical education. She also enjoys caring for children and has many years of experience carrying out baby and infant checks. Outside of work, Jennie is a busy mum of three. She values the variety that general practice brings and is committed to continually learning and developing both personally and professionally.

Dr. Julie Gray graduated from the University of Aberdeen Medical School in 2007, having first completed a BSc in Nursing in 2001. She qualified as a GP in 2012 and has been a GP partner for over 13 years. Julie has broad experience across medicine, including work in the Emergency Department, over a decade in pre-hospital emergency care as a first responder and instructor, and several years as a forensic medical examiner. Within general practice, Julie’s areas of interest include lifestyle medicine, women’s health, menopause care, contraception, and cryotherapy. She is qualified in the fitting and changeover of ring pessaries for prolapse management, performs joint injections, and has extensive experience in infant baby checks. Julie is a Lifestyle Medicine Physician and completed her Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine in 2018. She has served as the Scottish Regional Lead for the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM)since 2017, and in 2025 was awarded an Honorary Clinical Fellowship of the BSLM in recognition of her outstanding contribution to lifestyle medicine and the society. She is currently working towards completing her British Menopause Society certificate. She is passionate about integrating lifestyle approaches into daily GP consultations and supporting patients to make sustainable changes that improve their health and wellbeing. Outside of work, Julie enjoys an active, outdoors lifestyle with her husband and two young children. A keen triathlete, she has completed several middle-distance races and enjoys paddleboarding, hillwalking and snow sports.

Dr. Laura Thomson graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2007 with a first-class honours degree in Biology before completing her medical degree with honours at the University of Aberdeen in 2012. She gained wide-ranging hospital experience in acute medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, maxillofacial surgery, general medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, and paediatrics before qualifying as a GP in 2017. Laura has a particular passion for women’s health, with interests spanning from contraception through to perimenopause and menopause care. She holds the British Menopause Society Certificate and provides tailored care including HRT and non-hormonal treatment options. She also has a strong interest in child health, shaped by her early work in medical paediatrics and enriched by her own experience as a parent. In addition to her clinical work, Laura is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen School of Medicine, where she has been teaching since 2022. She also completed a Diabetes Scholarship in 2018, working alongside the diabetes team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Laura is passionate about all aspects of general practice, particularly the continuity of care and the privilege of supporting patients and their families over the long term. She is also interested in postnatal care and has a growing curiosity about the role of aesthetics in primary care. Outside of work, Laura enjoys yoga, gardening and family life. She is a mum of two and loves the fun and humour that both her work and family bring to her life.

Dr. Niki Gray has spent most of her life working in the caring professions, beginning at the age of 16 as a carer in a nursing home before training as a nurse and later embarking on a career in medicine. Her clinical experience includes work in cardiology, acute medicine, paediatric surgery, rural medicine, maxillofacial surgery, palliative care, emergency medicine, psychiatry and acute stroke. She particularly values the continuity of care within general practice and is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach. Niki is skilled in performing joint steroid injections and has a developing interest in dermatology, with plans to pursue further training in this area. Since 2024 she has been a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) and has a growing passion for lifestyle medicine. Outside of work Niki is a mother of two who enjoys running and Pilates.

Dr. Penny Quieros graduated from Cardiff University in 2005 and completed her GP training in Bristol in 2012. Before settling in Scotland, she worked in Wales and Bristol, and spent two years in New Zealand, gaining valuable experience in paediatrics and as a ski doctor. Penny’s particular areas of interest are sexual and women’s health, fitting contraceptive implants and coils and an interest in menopause health. She has previous hospital experience in paediatrics prior to general practice and has worked as a GP Lead for the Aberdeen paediatric cluster clinics from 2020-2024 within ARI. Penny is passionate about good palliative care; she has previously worked in a hospice for 6 months, was GP Lead for palliative care in Aberdeen City from 2015-2017, and continues to hold a palliative care lead role in general practice. In addition, Penny has past experience in dermatology clinics and continues to enjoy this area of practice. Penny is a patient-centred GP who strives to work holistically with a level-headed approach. Penny also has a growing interest in the impact of lifestyle and wellbeing on health and hopes to integrate this further into her consultations. Outside of work, Penny is a mum of two. She is a keen runner and loves spending time outdoors - whether skiing, climbing Munros or paddleboarding.

Dr. Stuart Taylor graduated from the University of Aberdeen Medical School in 2006. He has worked as a GP both in the Highlands and in Aberdeen, where he has been based since 2016. Alongside his general practice role, Stuart also works as a forensic physician and has held this position for several years. In 2024, he further broadened his experience as a GP Assistant in paediatrics outpatients. Stuart has particular interests in musculoskeletal medicine, children’s health, and sexual health. He is trained to deliver steroid joint injections and enjoys applying his sports medicine expertise in primary care. He values the continuity and variety of general practice and is committed to providing thorough, patient-centred care. Outside of work, Stuart enjoys keeping active and spending time with his family. He is actively involved in his community, serving on the committee of a Highland League Youth Academy Football team. He is also the regular host on an NFL podcast.
