Overview
My therapeutic approach draws on a variety of psychological theories and therapeutic techniques to help you navigate the complexities of your psyche and interpersonal relationships. My approach is particularly grounded in relational and systemic therapy, as well as the theories of Carl Jung, with a particular focus on understanding the complexities of the shadow self and the inner child. The shadow self refers to the unconscious part of our psyche that we find unacceptable, and inner child work is an approach to therapy that focuses on identifying and healing symbolic parts of ourselves that were frozen in childhood.
In my practice I emphasize understanding the complexity of our relationships with others and with ourselves. The dynamics of our interpersonal relationships both inform and shape our lived experience, and exploring them in a safe space can provide a deeper understanding of patterns and dynamics in our lives that may otherwise go unnoticed. Through collaborative exploration and gentle encouragement, I provide the support and tools necessary to navigate life's twists and turns with resilience and balance.
