Esther has been a qualified Osteopath for more than 17 years. Originally from London, she now practises in Derry and Donegal but continues to tutor at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, when visiting.
Esther has a keen interest in paediatrics, biomechanics, fitness, women's health and ageing well for all; through practicing preventive medicine and providing patient education. She aims to incorporate effective and progressive exercises in the treatment of each patient to ensure long term health benefits.
Treatments for newborns include cranial osteopathy and gentle bodywork to help with latching issues, silent reflux, colic, movement concerns, torticollis and plagiocephaly.
Esther holds a postgraduate certificate in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound. This enables both the practitioner and patient to get a visual on the problem, when further examinations are needed, without having to navigate complex referral pathways. She is also a spiral stabilization therapist; a gold standard exercise therapy for scoliosis and disc herniation.
Esther is registered with the Osteopathic Council of Ireland (OCI), and the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) UK.
