Counsellor

I work with individuals, couples, and families helping them adjust, grow and find meaning, as they face life transitions and challenges. I am passionate about helping - couples resolve conflict and enrich their relationships; - those coping with grief and loss navigate their way to moving forward; - women rebuild their lives following trauma, divorce or death of a partner/spouse; - teens and young adults build self-esteem and resiliency; - study abroad students and expats adjust to life abroad; and - coaching singles as they search for the one. I provide a warm, open, and empathic environment to support your goals and growth. I work collaboratively with clients, utilizing a trauma-informed approach and a variety of treatment modalities to assist them in reconnecting with and building on their strengths, including a variety psychodynamic modalities, Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Relational Life Therapy, Solution Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I create a warm, supportive, and safe environment necessary to assist clients to make meaningful changes. My education, 20 years of work experience in various settings, as well as my own full and challenging life experience allow me to meet clients where they are at with compassion and empathy. Living abroad I understand the issues facing expat adjustment.
