DBT Skills Online are aware that accessing therapy is a long wait. This can add to the stress and anxiety already being experienced. The aim of DBT Skills Online is to provide immediate support to clients, giving you tools, skills and coping mechanisms to help manage high or extreme emotions. The goal is to use the four core skills of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy which are Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and Interpersonal Effectiveness. DBT Skills Online are NOT in replace of therapy, but to help until clients are able to see a therapist. We are happy to work with both clients and professionals, ensuring a therapeutic plan of treatment.
